Black Rock Desert
--Sick camp. Black Rock Desert.
Sick Today. Solitude of Black Rock desert calls. Next 30 hours spent in the desert near Burning Man at the above campsite. There are no trees or shade in the desert. Rest, re-hydrate, eat soups take short walks and lots of rest. Sun is very hot but in shade formed by the blanket it is comfortable enough to rest. Not strong enough to return to Burning Man because the only bathrooms are a long walk to porte potties which I could not handle. The "bm" I had been wanting for days driving across country had finally arrived at BM the worst place and timing and I am sick and weak. Survival lesson: get enough rest and eat the right foods on a regular cycle or your body will break down. I rest.
